David de Gea knows the visit to Leeds United will not be an easy task but has urged Manchester United to pick up wins to increase their chances of finishing in the top four.
Manchester United’s form has been outstanding in a poor season and looks set to be named the club’s player of the year for the fifth time since joining from Atletico Madrid in 2011.
He has been in good form again. In helping Man Utd concede a goal in the first half before defeating Brighton 2-0 on Tuesday night and moving them up to fourth before a weekend away to Leeds,
De Gea passed. Down in the post against Marcelo Bielsa’s team twice at Old Trafford but has not traveled to Elland Road before after two games before. On this page, he is just a back-up on the sidelines.
“I know that between the two teams there is a lot of rivalry. It will be a difficult game, especially away to Leeds, a good team, a difficult team,” De Gea told ufabet.
“But we have to win this game as well to get into the top four. And hopefully we can go and win.”
The game against Leeds was so important that De Gea said he was not thinking about meeting his former club Atletico Madrid in the Champions League. Next week,
yes (a special game) but in my head at the moment I’m only thinking about Leeds.
“Prepare well for this game, get ready for the game and that’s the most important thing. Not only for me but the team must be ready to face Leeds.”
