Alisson Becker admits he is delighted to be back on the pitch for Liverpool. After being sidelined with an injury since October.

The Brazilian goalkeeper returned to full fitness for Liverpool and made a superb save to prevent a goal in their 1-0 win at Girona in the Champions League. 

It was the Brazilian goalkeeper’s first appearance since October. After he suffered a hamstring injury in the win over Crystal Palace. 

“I’m happy to be back on the pitch,” the 32-year-old goalkeeper said after the game. “It’s a great feeling. It was a long break this time, a little injury, then it became a big one. ทางเข้า ufabet I had to stay in the gym for nine weeks, but I had to work hard every day.”

Alisson has had to bide his time before making his return, with Liverpool taking no chances after a frustrating year with injuries for the 32-year-old. Caoimhin Kelleher’s form certainly helped in ensuring he wasn’t rushed back, with Alisson admitting he practically returned to square one in his recovery.

“When you get injured you have to work harder. When you play, you just play and try to recover as much as you can. But when you get injured, you have no excuses.”

“You have to prepare, work hard and it’s like pre-season again in the middle of the season. I’m very happy to be back and I’d like to thank the physios, the doctors and everyone who works with me.”
