Morgan Gibbs-White admits Nottingham Forest have suffered a major setback as the pressure of Champions League qualification fades away.
Forest have spent much of this season in the top five but have slipped to seventh after taking just one point from their last three home games, drawing 2-2 at relegated Leicester most recently.
Gibbs-White was a target for Manchester City in the summer but the playmaker is determined to help Forest end the season on a high and two wins in their final games, against West Ham and Chelsea, could be enough to turn things around.

“The last few games we were expecting to be in the Champions League and so are our fans. We’ve got two games left and we have to turn the tables. “
None of us have been in a situation like this before so we managed it really well in the beginning but then the hope started to slip away. “ We didn’t handle it very well,” he said.
“We have only just started but we have to keep fighting and keep building the team and the club.
“It has been a very difficult season, especially when we are in the position we are in.
“I can’t say why, tired? Exhausted? But we cannot make excuses because the fans deserve better. We cannot concede goals like we are doing now, it is really frustrating.”
