Bruno Guimaraes admitted Newcastle were nervous before beating Chelsea 2-0 at St James’ Park,

despite showing no signs of anxiety on the pitch. The Magpies took an early lead when Sandro Tonali fired the Magpies ahead in the second minute, before Guimarães sealed a stoppage-
time winner as they looked set to close the gap on next season’s Champions League qualification.
Speaking after the game, Guimarães admitted his side were nervous heading into the game, saying:
“Of course it’s normal to be nervous. It’s the end of the season, anything can happen, but I think we have a positive outlook.”
Guimarães also believed his goal was a “special” one that would lift Newcastle’s spirits after a hard-fought second half by Chelsea, and urged the fans to get back to the team in the final stretch.
“We should have scored the second goal early on. สมัครสมาชิก UFABET วันนี้ รับเครดิตฟรีทุกวัน “But we missed a lot of chances,” Guimaraes added.
“In the end we won 2-0, it’s okay, we didn’t concede, we scored two goals, now let’s try to continue, we are very happy. 2-0 is very good, but we lost a little bit of possession in the second half and we gave them too much time, but a victory is a victory. “
We scored at the beginning and at the end of the game, it was special for me to score today because it’s Mother’s Day in Brazil, it’s very important, but now we have to keep fighting with two games left. Overall, I am very happy.”
