RB Leipzig have signed Atletico Madrid’s Arthur Vermeeren on a permanent basis for €20m. After the option to buy was triggered.

The 19-year-old’s loan deal was understood to come. With an option to buy based on appearances and his fee was set at €20m on top of the €5m loan fee.

Vermieren has made 22 appearances in all competitions so far. Which is well above that requirement, so Leipzig are keen to make the move permanent and sign him on a deal until 2029.

He started in Wednesday’s defeat at Stuttgart and Marco Rose has hailed his fit in well.

Rumours began to surface late last month that approximately 18-20 appearances across all competitions would trigger the clause. Vermeeren reached the number via 22 games in the league, Champions League, and DFB Pokal.

Vermeeren featured in RB trainer Marco Rose’s starting XI for the ninth time in Wednesday’s loss to Stuttgart. Rose spoke on Vermeeren and the clause during his Friday pre-match presser ahead of this weekend’s away fixture against Bochum.

“It was clear towards the end of last year. That Arthur was going to be here for a long time,” Rose told สมัคร UFABET วันนี้ รับเครดิตฟรีสำหรับสมาชิกใหม่ . “He’s improved a lot for a 19-year-old, he’s filling in as a holding midfielder. And is always winning the ball back for us.”

Vermiere joined Atletico Madrid from Antwerp in January for €18m plus €5m in add-ons, but has only played five La Liga games so far.
