Micah Richards has slammed Chelsea for making Marc Cucurella one of football’s most laughable figures. The Spanish left-back joined Chelsea in a £55million deal from Brighton last season. But has struggled for regular game time at the club since his arrival.
He made 45 Premier League appearances across two seasons, with the London side also struggling for form. But it appears the good fortune has turned on the left-back once again at this summer’s Euros in Germany. The
25-year-old has been a key player for Spain, playing five of La Roja’s six games as they reach the final against England.
Richards, who has been so impressed with his displays, believes Chelsea should also be blamed for his failure to replicate his consistency in west London. Speaking on ยูฟ่าเบท is Football,
Richards said : “Marc Cucurella is one of the more talked about players at Brighton. He played in a system He can play as one of three centre-backs or full-back and is always pushing forward. And getting involved in attacking plays. ” He looks like a very good player.
